本次设计聚焦黄河中下游地区的物候景观，尝试建立时间、自然与生命之间的关联。二十四节气构成宏观的时间体系，而昆虫行为则是这一体系在微观生命层面的具体回应。温度、湿度、光照与风等环境因素持续作用于昆虫，使其产生飞行、鸣叫、聚集、穿梭或蛰伏等行为，并在运动过程中留下不同的痕迹。这些看似细微的变化不断累积，逐渐构成自然运行的整体节律，使微观生命活动成为宏观自然秩序生成的重要基础。 设计以“以生命感知时间，以痕迹承载生命，以视觉回读自然时序”为核心，从昆虫行为痕迹出发，对活动轨迹、频率与空间状态进行视觉转译，并结合信息设计、书籍设计与展呈设计等，以“自然时序切片”的方式重新组织那些容易被忽略的生命变化。整体重点不在于再现昆虫形态，而是将行为视为时间作用下留下的痕迹，通过对这些细微变化的持续观察与阅读，呈现由微观量变逐渐累积并生成宏观自然秩序的过程。
This project focuses on the phenological landscape of the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, seeking to establish connections among time, nature, and life. The Twenty-Four Solar Terms form a macro-scale temporal system, while insect behavior represents its specific response at the micro level of life. Environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, light, and wind continually influence insects, prompting behaviors including flight, chirping, aggregation, movement, and dormancy. As these activities unfold, they leave behind diverse traces. These seemingly subtle changes accumulate over time and gradually contribute to the overall rhythm of nature, making micro-scale life activities an essential basis for the formation of macro natural order. Guided by the concept of “perceiving time through life, carrying life through traces, and reading natural rhythms through visual language,” the project begins with insect behavioral traces. It visually translates movement paths, behavioral frequencies, and spatial conditions, combining information design with book design to reorganize often-overlooked changes in living systems as “natural temporal slices.” Rather than reproducing the physical form of insects, the project regards behavior as a trace left by time acting upon life. Through the sustained observation and visual reading of subtle changes—such as movement, sound, density, and dormancy—it reveals how micro-level variations gradually accumulate and generate a broader natural order. In this way, insect traces become a readable visual language through which viewers may revisit the temporal rhythms embedded within the natural world.
